Bien Cuit Bakery
A full service bakery in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn which provides a full range of slow-fermented breads and hand crafted pastries. The design of the space is meant to highlight the process of on-site baking and to reflect the delicate balance of raw and refined character that the bread and pastries exhibit. Reclaimed floor joists define an entry porch along the storefront and are planed along the side for refinement yet left raw on the edge to demonstrate a ‘well-cooked’ attitude.
